Last night's update call

Thank you if you joined us last night – as promised, here is a summary of what we discussed, including the slides and recording. The next time you hear from us should be about a week before pre-event 1, when we send out the final joining details.

Data – to be able to finalise details ahead of pre-event 1, we need everyone to login to the portal, and confirm their data. There are some people who still haven’t provided data, since before the summer, and some who haven’t confirmed the data that we have for them is still correct. If you are one of these people, you would have received an email last night – please complete this as soon as possible, and if you have any issues, let us know.

Tents – when we go to Kandersteg, we’re planning to provide the tents, and we hope to have this arranged in advance of pre-event 2. Unfortunately, a couple of things have popped up, and we’re asking you to arrange tents for pre-event 1. Last night, ahead of the call, we emailed all Groups, asking them to be ready to support you, so if you don’t have a tent yourself, we suggest arranging who you’ll share with, and approaching your group to ask to borrow a tent. Tents should be made up of no more than five people. For those of you who don’t have anyone to share with, please and we’ll help match you up with others.

InTouch – we had a few questions on our InTouch Process last night – we’re finalising the information which we’ll share with the pre-event joining details, so please don’t worry until then. The key message is that whether on-event, or between events, all contact with the contingent should be through the central mailbox (
