Hello, it's time for a camp update!
The Scouts and Explorers have been busy partaking in a wide variety of exciting activities today, from Scouts visting the Chocolate & Cheese Factory and the beautiful landscape of Oeschinensee, to the Explorers discovering the high peaks of the local area of Kandersteg through hikes and trails.
Today, the Scouts of the Contingent set off on an early start, ready to investigate the factory of their dreams. Indulging in both tasting and learning about the most desirable Swiss treats; the Scouts were then let in on the secret. Additionally, the remainder of the Scouts could look forward to a short but exciting trip to the stunning lake of Oeschinensee by cable car. Many rose to overcome this challenge, embedding their influence on the world by upholding their Scout values.
To add to this fun, many of our Explorer Patrols ventured up into the nearby peaks guided by local trails, capturing picturesque views, staggering waterfalls and painting memories they won't forget (maybe even involving camp ice creams too). Meanwhile the other explorers traversed the country by rail, participating in challenges like; canyonning, high ropes, climbing natural rock and white water rafting, maybe exploring the water a little too much.
They all enjoyed the activities today leaving them grateful for an early night, ready for another action packed day.
Bis Bald!
