    Latest Jamboree News:

"Catch up on the past few days at jamboree.

I have made lots of friends who I go to see every night.

Visited a beach where we cooled down in the cold sea which was lush.

Went to Hiroshima and saw the dome from the bombing and saw the thousands of cranes.

Went to city of science and learnt about the 5th taste of umami and the light spectrum.

At the arena show we had a visit from some special people including the prince and prime minister of Japan also local pop icons.

Also visited the UK tent and sat in the giant beach chair."

Hannah, Emilie, Chloe and Dom will be posting their experiences to our Facebook page directly from the Jamboree.

  • More News From Japan

    1st August 2015

    An update from Japan:

"The past few days out here have been pretty amazing, we joined an elementary school on one of the islands where we watched their drum display and hula dancing which we then had a go at. We then communicated with them and got to know a bit about them. It was a lovely destination afterwards we made bamboo dragonflies.

Today we visited the Hiroshima peace memorial and paid our respect to those who were sadly affected by the atomic bomb, it was unbelievable to see the affect and remains it left behind."
