Intro to Top Award level Expeditions and Theory training. Compulsory for all Gold/QSA participants planning to complete their expeditions this year.
Cost £25, includes indoor accommodation, catering and training resources
Intro to the Expeditions (Bronze and Silver), including the compulsory training required for the expedition section. This will be an interactive weekend covering the skills you need for the expedition which will be practised over the months that follow. Compulsory for all Bronze and Silver level participants, but Gold level are also welcome to come along to brush up on their skills and help train younger sections.
Indoor accommodation, £20
Training weekend being held in Ashdown Forest. The main aim will be to brush up on and develop your navigation skills in a more challenging environment. There will be a range of activities from hikes to smaller navigation exercises. We will also be finishing off the route planning for your Expeditions. Compulsory for all Bronze and Silver level participants, but also highly advised for Gold level to brush up on skills before your practice expedition.
Indoor accommodation, £30
The practice expeditions will be held in the Surrey Hills, this is for all Bronze and Silver participants and will involve a mock assessment in preparation for your qualifying expedition.
All participants arrive Friday evening (3 April)
Bronze Participants will go home Sunday evening (5 April)
Silver Participants will go home Monday afternoon (6 April)
